Founded in 1985, Dehres, the recognized name is derived from an acronym composed of the names of each member of the Zion family: Daniela, Ephraim, Hannah, Ronen, Erez and Simon. The name symbolizes unity, strength and a shared passion - striving to redefine the epitome of luxury jewelry.

Ephraim Zion is an iconic figure in the world of diamonds and fine gemstones. As one of the most internationally acclaimed experts, he is known as a significant leader in the world of fine jewelry. His family’s rich history as purveyors and master cutters set him on a path that led to his greatest passion and life’s work.
Ephraim's journey began in Israel as a diamond cutter, where he honed his skills as an apprentice, before he moved to New York to become one of the most sought-after diamond cutters known. In 1971 at the age of 25, he joined his family’s diamond and precious stone business in Asia. With the demand for high quality diamonds booming, the company grew into one of the largest suppliers throughout Asia within just a few short years. Ephraim persists on following his appreciation for diamonds and gems, and strives to enthrall the world with exceptional pieces for years to come.
